When the blinding blue light cleared, the familiar and yet also foreign black-and-green sky surrounded her, confirming that they were, in fact, in the Ghost Zone. Roxas was a few feet to her right. Doors of every color floated aimlessly in every direction around them. And, worst of all, this was no part of the Ghost Zone that Rachel Falcon/Phantom knew. "This is bad, Rox. Very bad." she spoke, glancing around. There was no sign of any Portal in sight. Mega crud. Deluxe crap edition crud. This is worse than I thought. A lot worse.

((Mega crud. Deluxe crap edition crud... I LOVE IT I LOVE IT!!! Oh and thanks for going along with the Ghost Zone and all... HEHEHE.))
Roxas was mad at himself for not getting that thermos in time. So now he was floating in the Ghost Zone. Then Rachel came too. So it was all Roxas's fault for getting her into this place, and better yet, back at the school, the Box Ghost was probably torchering all of the students and teachers. This was bad, this was very bad. "Any ideas?" Roxas asked as he went around examining the doors that floated around.

{OOC: LOL, Rae. XD}
School had been canceled that day due to Danny's battle with Skulker the previous night ripping up the majority of the gym. There was maybe two square feet untouched. Danny had chosen the time to continue the map of the Ghost Zone they'd been working on for the past few months; and for this reason, he, Sam, and Tucker were cruising into unexplored territory.
Danny was floating outside the Ghost Glider—successor to the previously wrecked Specter Speeder—while his friends piloted said 'aircraft'. Sam's voice came over the Fenton Phones. "Danny, picking up two unknown ectosignatures up ahead." "What levels?" he questioned, gaging the power of the potential new enemies. "Eight and seventeen," reported Sam. Both were high, particularly the seventeen. Danny's own level was somewhere between seven and nine, they'd never exactly gotten around to checking it exactly. Seventeen was about half of Vlad's level. Could he stand to something half as powerful Vlad? He didn't know. "Might be good allies, might as well see who they are."
A couple more minutes flight provided him with a view of the two unknown ghosts; one male, one female. They seemed pretty lost. "...Hello?"

"Any ideas?" Great. Roxas was stumped, and so was she. That meant neither had had ever been in this sector of the Ghost Zone. They were in deep, deep crap. "I dunno." she answered grimly. "Maybe we could just... fly around and look for a Portal..."
Before he could respond to this less-than brilliant suggestion, however, an unfamiliar voice rang out through the emptiness. "...Hello?"
Rachel spun around, priming a silver ectoblast for defense with her left hand. A boy with white hair and bright green eyes was moving toward them, next to some sort of aircraft. From what she could he, he was wearing a jumpsuit similar to her own; black with white gloves. He seemed non-threatening, but the weird vehicle made her more suspicious. "What should we do?" she questioned Slane, allowing the silver ball to shrink butt not disappear.

Roxas was half-listening as Rachel answered his question. He was too busy looking around. Then out of nowhere came a "..hello". Roxas wurled around and saw a guy around their age approaching with a wierd looking aircraft. The halfa saw Rachel's ectoplasmic ray ready to fire, but he wasn't taking any chances. Roxas flew infront of Rachel to protect her as she asked what they should do. "Just stay calm." Roxas whispered to Rachel. Then Roxas spoke to the guy, "Hey, who might you be?" Roxas said in a tough, but friendly manner.

The girl's reaction was pretty much instant; she spun around and was ready to defend herself in a heartbeat. I suppose she's the seventeen. Before she could fire or a response could be made, the guy moved in front of her as if to protect her, which made him wonder if maybe his first assumptions were incorrect. Would a level seventeen need protecting? If I were a higher level, yes she would. Might just be a good friend trying to defend her. Besides, odds are they don't know their own levels. it was at this point that he motioned for Sam and Tucker to stop the Glider as they had come to a respectful distance.
"Hey, who might you be?" Can't hurt to tell 'em. "I'm Danny. Danny Phantom," he introduced himself. "My friends Sam and Tucker are in that thing." At this, he indicated the black-and-white, jet-like aircraft of sorts that was the Glider. "You... seem lost."

Roxas thought quickly of what to do if this guys turns out to be an enemy. Then he spoke to them, he seemed nice anough. "Well this ghost called the Box Ghost put us in here, and we can't seem to find a portal out. By the way, my name is Roxas and this is Rachel." Roxas said as he held out his hand for a handshake from Danny and a nod to Sam and Tucker. "Nice to meet you all." Roxas said to them.

Rachel allowed the ball of silver energy to completely dissipate with Roxas' suggestion. It wasn't like she considered him the leader of their little team, but he did know what to do when meeting new people far better than she did. Although it was outside of her physical ability to visibly blush—she had rather thick skin—Rachel felt her cheeks warm slightly as he moved in front of her. Wether this was because the feminist buried deep in her mind liked the fact that he wanted to protect her despite the fact she'd been "their kind" about ten times as long as him, or that she was annoyed he felt he had to protect when she was (up to) ten times as powerful, she didn't know. A nagging at the back of her mind made her rather suspicious of the former, however.
"I'm Danny. Danny Phantom." This surprised the girl. Danny Phantom?! That's my last name in ghost form... "My friends Sam and Tucker are in that thing." She glanced in the ship through the windshield briefly, then did a double-take. Sam and Tucker were human. How many humans made friends with ghosts? None Rae could think of. "You... seem lost." before Rachel could reply, Roxas did so for her and she nodded to confirm the story. She was starting to lose distrust in this ghost, Danny. Still...
Once the boy had come within range, Rae's ghost sense had gone off; but in a weirdly different way, and the silver vapor had been absent. It was more of a simple shiver and the sensation of plunging into ice water; like it used to feel around Slane before she trained it not to go off for him. And his human friends only furthered the suspicion that perhaps this boy wasn't a ghost after all. Not a full ghost, anyway.
She proffered her hand after Roxas had done so. Once the handshake ended, she spoke for the first time. "Could you... excuse us, for a moment, please?" Without waiting for an answer, she grabbed Roxas' arm and pulled him out of earshot of the others, then whispered hurriedly, "Rox, I don't think he's full ghost. I think he's a Halfa, like us."

Rachel's double-take at Sam and Tucker half-surprised the young halfa. What was so surpising about the fact that they were humans? It was common knowledge in the Ghost Zone that he was often seen with his two human friends; in fact, he was rarely seen without them. She should have expected that when he'd given his name, shouldn't she?
Then again, neither seemed to recognize the name of Danny Phantom—unless you counted Rachel's slight widening of the eyes when he'd mentioned his last name, but he doudted that was because she recognized him as the halfa. Somehow, it seemed diferent from that.
"It's nice to meet you too, Roxas, Rachel," answered Danny politly, taking each of their hands in turn. Before he could say anything else, however, Rachel spoke for the first time and took off, dragging Roxas with her. This just confused him even more, but didn't raise any suspicions. Sam and Tucker immeadiatly spoke up again. "Well.... That was sort of weird." "I know, did you see the way that girl—Rachel—was looking at us? It was like the last thing she expected to see was humans in the Ghost Zone." "I dunno if she's even been in here for the past year or so. She didn't even seem to recognize 'the halfa.' She did recognize 'Phantom' though. Wonder why."

Roxas was in thought and he had just realized that Danny's last name was 'Phantom' like Rachel's in ghost form, when suddenly Rachel grabbed his arm. This surprised him, but he figured that they should have a talk. Rachel began, and then Roxas answered, "I also think he is a halfa, I mean he has the same last name as you, but it must only be in ghost form like you. Also, I saw that you, like me, noticed his friends are humans! Which would leave only one explaination, he is a halfa." Roxas said to her, and only so she would be able to hear him.

Good. Roxas had reached the same conclusion. That meant it was definite. Now what to do with the situation? "What d'we we do? Get the truth from him somehow?" If they could get Danny to spill, and their theories were proven correct, they could definitely trust him with their own secrets. After that, maybe he'd be more willing to help them find a way out of the Ghost Zone—perhaps even through whatever Portal he used to get in. Problem with that though is that he might live as far from home as China, for all we know.

Roxas thought quickly, then with no smart ideas, he said, "Well I am just going to go up and ask him." Roxas said, considering that he thought the talk was done. He moved away from Rachel and back over to Danny. Then he asked bluntly, "Are you a halfa?" Roxas asked hoping for an answer that wouldn't mean battle.

Roxas drifted back towards him before long, but his words surprised the boy. "Are you a halfa?" Danny had thought the answer to that question obvious to a ghost. Due his clueless nature, he had completely missed the differance between how his ghost sense had felt when he approached them, and how it felt around every other ghost but Vlad. "Am I a halfa?" he repeated, suprise evident in his voice. "I thought all you full ghosts knew that. But you didin't recognize the name 'Danny Phantom', so.... This is just wierd." he added decidedly. Two full ghosts that didn't know Danny Phantom was a halfa? Sounded like one of Vlad's cheesy plots. But neither of these two seemed the type to just bow down to the authorites. Sorta like me, actually.

Roxas was very surprised by Danny's answer. Then Roxas began to laugh as he went back to Rachel and practically dragged her over to Danny. Still laughing, Roxas said, "Did you hear that, he is a halfa, and he thinks that we are the full ghosts!" Roxas said to Rachel laughing, then he turned back to Danny. Finally stopping his laughs, Roxas said, "We are not full ghost. We are also halfas." Roxas told Danny with a slight smile.

"Did you hear that, he is a halfa, and he thinks that we are the full ghosts!" Rachel cracked up. This was the most obvious, yet completely unexpected twist of fate and attack of sheer irony she had ever seen. "We are not full ghost. We are also halfas." "It's true." she added to the conversation between laughs. "We're from Bridgeton. Any chance you could get us outta here?"
